Hello! I’m Mia, and I want to share with you about our incredible trip to Peru with my husband, Paul. In 2024, we decided to explore this country full of history and culture through RAP TRAVEL. And it was an experience we will never forget.
From the first destination, the city of Cusco, we were captivated by the beauty of its stone buildings, which left us impressed both by its Inca history and Spanish colonial architecture.
In the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we were able to explore the ancient ruins of Pisac and Ollantaytambo, learning about Inca culture and enjoying the breathtaking views of the valley.
Then came the most anticipated moment: Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the modern world. It was a surreal experience to be in such a magical place surrounded by the mountains of the Andes. We took many photos to capture the moment and always remember it.
But the most impressive for us was attending the Inti Raymi Festival, where we sat in the grandstand with the best view of the ceremony. It was impressive to see the crowd gathered to celebrate this important ceremony. The traditional costumes, dances, music, and food were simply spectacular.
As Germans, we noticed some cultural differences compared to our culture. In Germany, celebrations are usually more formal and reserved, while in Peru, people are more open and outgoing. We really liked the friendly and welcoming attitude of the people in Peru, and we appreciated their pride in their culture and historical heritage.
In summary, this trip organized by RAP TRAVEL was wonderful in every aspect, from the organization to the quality of services. And we take unforgettable memories of Peru, which we definitely recommend to anyone interested in history, culture, and adventure.
